One More Puppy!!

Hi All!

Kathy Todd has one more precious miniature golden doodle pup that needs a loving home. His name is Theo and they have been able to work with him a great deal. He is already potty trained, crate trained and is working on a few basic commands. He loves to cuddle and play and really is the pick of the litter. He has been one of the most affectionate puppies I've ever met!

Anyone who is looking for a companion dog would really love little Theo! He has been born into a home where he is pampered and loved always. Please call Kathy at 859 200 9434 if you are interested.

Updates on Madie, Ellie, Zeke, and Obe

We've been meaning to post some updates that we've received from some of the owners. Thanks so much to them for sending us pictures and videos!

"Hey Ramsays!! Its Adrienne! here is a new picture of Madie (pink girl)!! She takes her daily naps in this same spot everyday and we think it is just hilarious!! My dad always jokes that my mom is going to need to get bigger feet because soon Madie's nose isn't going to fit in her shoe anymore! HaHa :) we hope rosie is doing well! :)"

"Madie wants to make sure she doesn't miss any water or meals so she'll lay with her head in her bowl. Takes after the kids in the family..."

"Here is Madie by her favorite chair. She no longer puts her nose in shoes while she sleeps but she now has to be touching or wrapped around the chair. We had a whole bunch of people over last night and we brought her out towards the end of the evening. She was the perfect, well behaved lady. She is now studying for her puppy classes and is at the head of the class."

Here's a greeting from Ellie (black girl) and family:

"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY Mama Rosie and Grandma Ramsay!!

Love, Ellie

Our Spring flower trees are in full bloom. Thinking it would be a sweet Mother's Day picture to send, I broke off a small branch to try and put it in a picture with Ellie. In no time at all, she snatched up the branch in her mouth and started running, flower petals falling, leaving a pink trail behind her. Oh well,so much for that idea."

Here's a letter from Zeke's (aqua boy) family about how smart he is:

"Zeke now does roll over, high five with both paws (almost like patty cake), laydown, relax (Laying down on his side with head down), sit, speak, and is learning the names of his toys. He knows “Frog” and “Dragon” and defiantly knows “Chew Stick” and “Kong”. I know he knows his name, but acts like he doesn’t and comes when you call anyone else’s name. The other day he was playing with our neighbor’s dog, Rocky (Border Collie mix). Zeke started to venture too far, so we called “Rocky! Come here Rocky!” Zeke turned and ran towards us as fast as he could. He is soo silly!!"

Here's Zeke trying to get Sassy, the family cat, to play with him:

We love this video!... Zeke was so excited when his daddy came home:

Zeke howling at his squeaky toy:

If you enjoyed those videos, here's a link to his family's Youtube feed, and there's lots of cute videos! If you go to the link, click "See All" on the right.

Here's more on how great Zeke is:

"Everyone we meet fall in love with Zeke and want to know if there will be more litters. I direct everyone to Rosie’s blog and tell them that your contact information can be found there. Zeke makes friends where ever we go. Last Saturday, we were at PetSmart replacing “floppy ball”. We took Obe and Zeke with us. They were soo well behaved, and everyone was complimenting us on how beautiful and well behaved they were…even the trainers! At one point, Zeke decided he was tired, and just laid down on the floor to take a nap…in the middle of the aisle. He is just the sweetest thing and every night I thank God for leading us to you and to him. We love him tremendously. It’s hard to think back on our lives without him!"

Here's some photos of Zeke (aqua boy), a few of which also feature big brother and best friend, Obe (red boy).

We've got updates from others, so we'll try to post those soon!

A litter one update and our newest addition

We received some pics of Sophia Rose while we were in the midst of new litter pics. It's taken me awhile to get to posting these - as you can see from the snow! Hopefully that's finally over for now. I believe this is Brittany with Sophia Rose in the second picture.

Sophia Rose was our first litter little Red Girl. She was "Queen of the Chair" in this video.

And I can't resist giving you a couple pictures of our new granddaughter, Rose. In the first pic she's looking like her beautiful mother and handsome dad. In the second one, I think she favors her grandpa.

Or maybe she's just missing her grandpa!

More news on puppies

We've received a few more updates on our doodle puppies.

First, another picture of Ellie Rose. It seems like Madie is not the only one that is into shoes.

Patty reports, "Ellie is doing wonderful. One of her favorite outdoor activities is running around in the backyard. We throw the ball for her and she takes off like a race horse. Sometimes her long legs get ahead of her and she will roll in the grass to stop. Her favorite indoor sport is to grab a slipper or shoe and run. Whenever the opportunity strikes, she takes full advantage. She still loves to chew on laces, too. She's a lot of Fun! She always keeps us amused.

We got a report on Obe as well. Click here for some pics of Obe and Zeke. Sarah says " Obadiah has been the best lil guy ever. Whenever we have company, which is often, people are always amazed by his calmness. Our neighbor's dog (Iyla) and Obe are best friends. Also, he gets to see Zeke about 3 to 4 times a week and they always act as if they thought they would never see each other again. He gets the best compliments on our walks and I have had over 4 people ask if there were more puppies available. Like I said, people are always shocked by his good behavior especially because he is a puppy.
By the way, Obe weighs 22 pounds. He is such a chunk!"

Sounds like our Big Red Boy hasn't changed much!

Finally, I promised a link to a video of Penny.
Video 1 is Penny playing with her St. Bernard "big sister" Emma.
Video 2 is Penny and Emma with Baxter.

And Even More Doodle Updates

Here's a series of pics of Obe and Zeke. They really love getting together. Kristen says you can hardly get a picture of one since they are pretty much always "one big ball of fluffy fur."

Obe with big sister Elizabeth.

Begging. I think there's going to be fight over the bone!

Below we have our first postings of Hayley (red girl) with Nicole. We need a fish like that for Rosie! She would love it!

More Puppy Updates

Penny (yellow girl) was the last puppy to join her new family and here she is greeting her new parents, Casey and Skottie. One and a half year old Baxter is also part of the family as is Emma, a two year old St. Bernard. Penny has lots of playmates!

Next is Rory. Rory (mango girl) was the first puppy selected (by Steve and Cathy) and recently got to meet some of her extended (people) family. Below, she is sacked out on Amanda and Cullen and trying to blend into the outdoor surroundings - probably so she can stay outside longer.

One more of Rory that needs explaining. After a long evening of games and family fun, Steve was feeling pretty tired and had to ask the rest of the family to remind him the name of the new puppy in the family. Son Nate quickly produced the sign on the refrigerator that you can see between Nate, Rory and Ashley.

Stay tuned. I've got more pics of Obe and Zeke, a pic of Hayley and another one of Ellie Rose.
AND, a link to a couple of videos of Penny and her new playmate Emma.

More puppy in their homes

We continue to post pictures sent in by our doodlesbyrosie families. It is so nice to see Rosie's little ones settling in so happily.

Here, we have Ellie Rose in Patty's arms,
flanked by her new best buddies Ryan and Matthew.

And Adrienne sent this one in of Madie
with the hope that her Mom's feet grow as fast as Madie is growing.
Apparently this is a favorite nap position.

They both obviously wore themselves out tugging.

A New Rose in the Family!

The blog has been quiet, not only because all of our puppies are now with their new families, we have been welcoming a new granddaughter into the world. Brian and his wife Michelle are proud parents of little Rose May! Eileen and I got to spend a week in Florida with Rose (and Brian and Michelle, of course).

Some of our longtime doodlesbyrosie followers may remember that it was Michelle who created this blog with the countdown to Rosie's first litter of puppies!

We have quite a few pictures of puppies to post so feel free to stop back and visit our site. We will keep it pretty active posting updates of the puppies and their families over the next few weeks.

All the puppies are sold!

After a wild weekend of inquiries, all of our puppies are sold! We're also down to three puppies left at the Ramsay house and it seems a little lonely in the puppy pen! Honey (aqua girl) goes home to Nashville tomorrow, purple girl goes home Wednesday, and yellow girl will meet her new family in Chicago this weekend. It is amazing how fast the remaining puppies went, but we are so happy that they are going to good homes. If you got one of Rosie's ten puppies, please send us updates and pictures!

Black boy went home this weekend with a wonderful family... they drove all the way from the Chicago area just to get their special boy! He was one of our favorites, so we are glad that he is going to have such an exciting life with three "siblings" under 7 years old. We already have reports that he was an angel on the ride home and helped jump start the kids this morning! The first two pictures below are black boy with his new family.

Zack, Mallory, and Molly with their new puppy!
Cute kids + cute puppy

Here's yellow girl, who is going to Illinois this weekend. She usually doesn't hold still for very long, so we're glad we got this cute shot!
Honey (aqua girl) who goes home to Natalie and Dewey tomorrow! Isn't she precious?

All of the puppies got or are getting some last playtime in with Momma Rosie
Cuddling up

Thanks so much to all of you who followed this blog, whether you ended up with a puppy or not. We've had so much fun helping to raise them and meeting so many great people along the way! We'll continue to post updates on different puppies as we get them from families, so be sure to check back from time to time.

Playing in the snow / Going home to families

It has been a big week in puppyland with most puppies going to their homes. After next Tuesday, when Honey (aqua girl) goes to her family in Nashville, we'll only have three puppies remaining! The puppies that still need homes are black boy, yellow girl, and purple girl. A few families have expressed interest, but none of them are claimed yet, so please let us know if you want to give one of these cuties a home!

While we aren't too excited about continued snowfall in Ohio, the puppies love it, and it definitely keeps them cleaner than running in the mud. Below are lots of pictures of the puppies playing in the big snow we got on Friday, as well as a few of the ones who went to their new families this week.

Again, the unclaimed puppies are purple girl, black boy, and yellow girl...

Rosie loves how energetic and playful the puppies are getting.

Yellow girl charging towards the camera... she loves to run and has lots of spunk. Of all the puppies she is definitely the most athletic and intelligent!

All four puppies (purple girl, black boy, aqua girl, and yellow girl) crashed out in Colleen's lap after playing in the snow... black boy is looking at the camera

Honey (aqua girl) loves to cuddle... she'll get lots of opportunities for that when she goes home on Tuesday!

Here's a few of puppies that went to their homes this week:

Ezekiel (aqua boy) waiting to be picked up

One last picture of Obadiah (red boy) and Ezekiel (aqua boy) before they go home

Rory (mango girl) wouldn't look at the camera for her goodbye picture, but Steve and Cathy report that she has been wonderful, playful and has adjusted quickly!
