The puppies in their new homes

Sorry to those who have inquired, but all the puppies were purchased as of mid-November, so we don't have any left. They are all doing great in their new homes, and we are so thankful for the families that ended up with them!

Indy, our mommadog, loved having puppies around, but has also enjoyed getting all of our attention and relaxing a bit more since they left. She seems to be doing great, so we will consider breeding her again in 6 months or a year. If you'd like to get on the waiting list for one of those puppies, please just email us at doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com.

Almost 7 weeks!

Sometimes you try to read a book to a puppy...
The puppies are almost 7 weeks old now, and just had their first vet visit today. They are thankfully all wonderfully healthy and energetic. We've been letting them play more outside, as well as in our living room, so they can gain confidence and so Indy has a chance to teach them how to behave. Whenever ones of them gets too rambunctious or rowdy, Indy is quick to show them that she's boss and that's not how they are to act. As a parent of 3 kids 4 and under, that sounds a bit familiar... : )

We have begun potty training with the puppies and it is going very well! They all now prefer to go outside and we are doing our best to facilitate and encourage that throughout the day.

Two of the puppies have been claimed, but while the other two have some interest, they are still available. Let us know if you want one of the beauties pictured below!

Puppies in the Sunshine

The puppies have been loving all of this sunny weather!! They are getting more and more confident exploring the back yard - they all seem to love my flowers! We have even started basic potty training, and they are getting good at going in the grass right when they get up from naps.

Two of the puppies have been claimed, but we still have two female puppies available, though a few families are considering them. Please let us know if you are interested, and don't hesitate to ask us any questions.

Enjoy these pics!

Puppies first time out

The puppies were 4 weeks old yesterday, and got to go outside for the first time. They were so cute as they explored and adapted to a new environment. Here's a (long, but cute) video of their first time outdoors:

Meet the puppies

These sweet little guys are getting active! We wanted to share some individual pictures now that their personalities are starting to come out and they are getting more active.

Meet the firstborn little girl!  She is very sweet and mellow at this stage.  She already likes to be pet  and snugged, and even waddles over to the whelping box door to say "hi!" to us.

Here is our sweet boy! He LOVES to nap (I couldn't get him to wake up long enough for pictures) and often "talks" while he sleeps. He was the very fist puppy to wobble his way over to us when they began to walk.  He also loves to give kisses!

Here is our second born girl.  She is already showing some athleticism! She was the first to open her eyes and try out walking! She is active and enjoys exploring, but also loves a good snuggle.

This is our last born! She is very calm and cuddly.  She already likes to be around people and wants to climb in our laps (when she is actually awake).  She is such a sweetie!

The puppies are 2 weeks old!

Little paw...
Their eyes are opening up! Their little faces are so adorable.

Pink Nose
We can't believe that the puppies will be 2 weeks old tonight! They are getting big so quickly, and their eyes are already starting to open up.  They are all getting lots of snuggles and quality time being held during the day.  Indy continues to be a fantastic momma to her babies and rarely leaves them for long.

Indy's 2015 puppies at 1 year

Here are some sweet pictures of Indy's litter from 2015!  They are all so grown up :).

Sammy is a handsome boy!
Sammy, from Indy's last litter, went to our neighbor's daughter, who lives is Louisville. We often get to see Sammy when he comes to visit, and he and Indy love to run around and play together. He is such a sweet boy who is loved and spoiled by his human momma.

Sammy has his own instagram account, so you can see more of what he has been up to here!

Here are pictures of Halo!  She is such a sweet little girl and very well loved by her family. She has three human siblings and lots of room out in the country to run!

After a grooming!

Apparently, Halo gets to go to lots of baseball games with her family, and everyone loves her. What a sweet, lucky girl!

We'll post more photos and updates on the 2015 litter as we get them, so check back!

Puppies are here!

Whispering to the puppies
After a weekend of speculating and coaxing (mostly by our two-year-old, as seen in the photo above), Indy finally had her puppies!

Pink nose, pink toes

The puppies were born September 18th (and a few in the wee hours of the 19th), 2016. Indy was a great momma the whole time, and Colleen stayed up to make sure everything went well. There are 3 girls and 1 boy in the litter, and so far all they do is sleep, eat, and look adorable. They will be ready to go to homes at around 7-8 weeks old, which will be sometime after November 6th. Check out the pictures, and see the links below and to the left for more information.
