Our first puppy to move in with her new family is Pink girl. Madie has moved in with Terri, Adrienne (what a great name to give your daughter!), Eric and Jonah (not pictured).

Videos of Red Girl and others
On the left is a video of red girl having a conversation with Eileen. This cutey will be going to live in Chicago with Nicole, and will still be called Red Girl. Black boy (the light colored one) come in for the last half of the video and he is still looking for a home. We're not sure who is there in the background - some of the little girls are so hard to tell apart.
The video on the right is just a bunch of the puppies playing... they love paper towels, shoes, and anything else they can check out. We're trying not to let them chew on shoes, but so far they mainly just love to put their heads inside and smell them!
So far six puppies have been claimed, but there are four still available - pink girl, yellow girl, aqua girl, and black boy.
Note: The puppy names come from the color of polish that we painted on their toenails in order to distinguish them. Click this links pictures of all of the puppies or click on the links at the left. We'll try to update with more photos soon!

Album of Puppies
A few different families are deciding which puppy to choose this weekend, so we've put together an album with two pictures of each puppy. Click this link to see the album. Hopefully it will help with the decision making process... we'll try to add more photos soon.

Doodles at 3 weeks
The doodle pups are growing fast. They are exploring their kiddie pool home and trying to
figure out how to get out. They love to wrestle with each other and to cuddle in a lap.
Momma Rosie is still number one in their lives, though!
Red Boy* enjoys playing baby kangaroo in John's sweatshirt
pouch. Rosie's always checking to make sure everyone's
O.K.
*We have painted some back toenails so that we can tell
them apart.
Below, John is holding, from left to right, pink
girl, aqua boy and red boy. These are three of the
darkest colored in the litter. Others are closer
to Rosie's shade.

Starting to get playful
Eyes are open and vocal chords have been found. It is getting hard to get anything done around the house since we're watching and laughing at puppies all the time.
Here's a cute playtime video. Sorry for the poor camera, Colleen and Cason are away this week.

Getting a nice kiss from sister. Either that or she's chewing on his lip.

Another Chowtime video!
Time for a new video post. They aren't very interesting yet except at meal time (which is the only time other than nap time). With eyes opening up, we should be able to get play time soon. So here is another chow time video. Also a couple more pics.
Rosie is soooooo patient.

Eyes Are Opening
The puppies' eyes are starting to open and it is pretty crazy how much bigger they are getting! We weigh them every day, and most increase about 2 oz. per weigh-in... which doesn't seem like too much until you realize it is about 10% of their body weight! Because their eyes are opening up, they now whimper and whine when they see their mom across the pool. The still spend all their time sleeping and eating but we are excited for them to have their eyes opened to the world! It will be so much fun to watch them explore. This new sensory development has mainly just made things much noisier around the house as noises are waking them up and they can start seeing momma Rosie.
Here are a few more cute pictures from today. Enjoy!

A Ramsay daughter and son-in-law live in the Chicago suburbs, so in addition to Northeast Ohio, these puppies are also available for sale and delivery in the Chicagoland area. They will be ready to go home to their families in mid-March. For more information or to declare your interest, you can email doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com or call (330) 264-5886.

Getting Bigger
As you might imagine, the puppies are growing up fast and getting bigger. When we first weighed them the day after they were born, only one was heavier than a pound. However, at the weigh-in yesterday, most were over two pounds... double their weight five days! Their eyes are getting close to opening, they are much more mobile, it seems like they are staring to hear, and they are getting louder and more demanding.
Yesterday we painted the back toenails on each of the puppies so we can identify them and keep track of their individual weights. It is fun calling them "red boy," "aqua girl," etc. Soon we'll put up pictures so you can track your favorites by color. Here's a few more photos... enjoy!:

Puppy Update
The puppies are doing well and about half of them weigh more than a pound now. They are still just eating and sleeping all day, but they have gotten a bit more coordinated. Rosie is still pretty protective of them, but is relaxing a bit more when we take some of them out of the pool. Even though the difference between the largest and the smallest is only a few ounces, a few times a day we've been splitting them into groups to to make sure the little ones are getting enough to eat.
Here's a few pictures from today... as always, click on the photo to see a larger version.

Rumsey and Kaya
More pictures of our first litter. They are almost 1 1/2 years old now.

These three shots are of Rumsey (Fancy collar boy). The report is that he is just under 60 lbs now and "half of this is hair." He and Aidan are great companions. "They wrestle and rough house and Rumsey is a gentle, tolerant, giant through it all."
And some shots below of Kaya (originally Abby). Bridgette and Blair say "She is quite the talker every day when we get home and a cuddler at heart." Lots of reports of cuddlers among this first litter. We'll give Rosie credit for that!

Update on Sophie Rose
We just received pics from Julie. This is Sophie (Dark Blue Collar Girl)

We particularly like the one with the duck. Rosie absolutely loves it when we get her a duck. She treats it like her own puppy for several weeks and then she can't resist making it a chew toy and it doesn't last too long after that.

More Doodles on the Way!

Maeve
Maeve was the pink collar girl that found a home with Elizabeth and Matt. Here is what they had to say about her:"She rings her bells that we hung on the backdoor. She is a love bug. She is cuddled up on the bed snoring as I type! We do have her sleep on her own bed, though. She is already 41.5 pounds!!! She is happy, healthy and brings us joy everyday. Any chance there might be a goldendoodle reunion this summer?"
A goldendoodle reunion? Hmmmm.

Abby has a home!
We already have Abby in a new home! Thanks to those of you who gave us leads.
Blair and Bridget already have Abby settling into her new home. Having had Abby for a week, we have no doubt that she will quickly adapt and bring much joy and enthusiasm to her new environment!
Of course Rosie already misses having a playmate!

We need a home for Abby
One of Rosie's litter from last fall is back with Rosie. Though Rosie is thrilled by this, we need to find a home for Abby. Abby is the little orange collar girl, though she is neither little nor orange-collared anymore. But she is very cute! Here are a couple of pictures and a video. Please contact us if you or anyone you know might be interested, and get the word out for us!

Rumsey
Our update from John and Stacey sounds like Rumsey has taken to his new home quite easily and gets along well with his two feline housemates. Though some of his siblings reportedly are still struggling with the leash thing, Rumsey looks quite content in this first picture with his leash. However, the second picture looks like he's not so sure.

Here he is with his favorite companion, Aidan.

Maeve in a tutu!
As is the case with her siblings, Maeve is still working at learning to be on a leash. Sounds like she's quite lovable and Elizabeth says the curls make her look like she has a bad case of bed head.

The Puppies are Growing!
We have recently received updates from a few of our doodle puppy families. We'll post some info up, one at a time over the coming days so check back for more.
Josie (Light blue collar girl) is really getting her curls. Kim says she is halfway through her positive puppy training course and it sounds like she's on track to graduate.
She particularly enjoys helping Corinne study(below left) and loves when Kelly is home from college, though it doesn't look to me like much studying is getting done. She is working at become friends with the family cat, Beanie(below right). We must forgive Beanie's shocking glare. She has just come home from tooth surgery.
