Playful puppies in a kiddie pool

All the puppies with Cashy in the pool:

They are getting so big and playful! Can't believe they start going to homes in just a few weeks. We're going to miss them a lot, but are excited for them to meet their new families!

Puppies to the vet & 4 more puppies

So, it turns out that have three children under 2 and a half, and four 4-week old puppies in the same house (while providing crazy levels of cuteness), makes it difficult to find time to blog... but we're surviving, and the puppies and kids are thriving!

It is hard to believe that the puppies are almost 4 weeks old already! Their eyes are all open and they are getting playful. They are irresistibly cute and so much fun already!

It used to be pretty much all quiet in the whelping box, but now we hear hilarious growls and yips when they are up playing with each other. Here's a video of them playing with Indy, then getting sad when Indy left them, before playing some more:

Approximately 30 seconds after this video ended, they were all asleep in a pile like this...

We just got a deposit on the last puppy, so they all have homes they will be joining in a few weeks. Amazingly, they are all going to be in different states - Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Texas! We are thrilled for all of the families that these puppies are going to - they are all going to have such great lives!  We do have a waiting list if anyone is still interested, just in case a family is unable to take their puppy.

Here's all the puppies at their first vet visit:
#1, "Colt," is going to Indianapolis
#2, "Rory," is going to live in Kentucky just a few miles from us!
#3, an unnamed Christmas morning surprise puppy for 3 little girls, is going to Texas
#4, "Abby," is going to Columbus, Ohio

Molly also had a litter of puppies!
Indy's mamma, Molly, also had a litter of puppies just a week after Indy, so if anyone was sad to miss out on one of our puppies, we're letting people know about hers!  Molly is a first generation mini Goldendoodle (F1, 50% Retriever and 50% Poodle), and was bred with an poodle, so her puppies are called back-crosses (F1B's) since they are in theory 25% Retriever and 75% Poodle. Our Indy is an F1B as well, so you can see how cute they will be!  They are being raised in a wonderful loving home with lots and lots of socialization. Molly had a litter of 8 puppies, 4 of which are sold, so there are 4 males left - here are photos of those handsome boys!:

If you'd like more information about any of Molly's 4 male puppies, you can contact us at doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com and we will put you in touch with Colleen's Aunt Kathy. They are about three weeks old now and will ready to go to homes right before Christmas.

Pictures and Videos

The gang's all here: (From L to R) #2, #1 (Colt), #4 (Abby), and #3

What happens when you put a two year old, an eight month old, and their mother, plus four puppies and their mother on one blanket?:

Sometimes you get confused and think that puppies say "quack":

2 Weeks Old

#3 (light boy with white blaze) and Abby (formerly "#4") all snuggled up
Little Abby looking around
It is hard to believe that the puppies are 2 weeks old already! The weeks are flying by and these mini Goldendoodles are getting big quickly!

(For more info about Goldendoodles, their mama Indy, or how you can add one of these cuties to your family, click the links or check back through the previous posts.)

Two 2-week olds hanging out: Colt and our son
Their eyes are starting to open up - puppy #4, who will be known as Abby when she goes to her new home in Columbus, OH, is starting to look around the most, but #2, the light colored male is some as well. Indy is taking such good care of them that we really only have to make sure to keep their whelping box clean at this point. The work will come in the coming weeks when they become more mobile and need to get outside to potty!

In addition to #4/Abby, #1 (the reddish boy with the white blaze on his head, chest, and back) also has a name... he'll be known as Colt when he heads to his home in Indianapolis in about a month. Colt's family has a 2 year old daughter and a baby boy on the way, so Colt will have lots of playmates! To get him ready for his new little brother (who is coming this spring), he spent an evening last week cuddled up with our 2 week old son. He's definitely already great at snuggling!

Here's #2, the light colored male, who is still available

#2 - look at that sweet face!

#3, the light colored male with the blaze on his face, is also still available to go to a home for Christmas

#3 snuggling in to the blanket

Here's Colt (#1) again - he's definitely the best eater! He's excited to go live in Indy with his family soon!

Abby (#4) can't wait to spend Christmas with her family in Columbus!
Let us know if you have any questions or if you think you might be interested in one of the two remaining puppies. Thanks!

Puppies and Kiddos

Pups in a row
Our 2 year old was so excited to hold one!
We've had quite a bit of interest in the puppies already, and have been told that there are two deposits about to by mailed, which means we have two sold! If you're interested in one of the other two, please let us know soon at doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com. For info on the process how to get one of these sweeties, check out that section of the FAQs at the left.

As previously stated, Indy's puppies are growing up in our living room, right along with our three children under 2.5 years old. They will be very highly socialized since they've been around people from the moment they were born, and they've already had to get used to lots of noise!

Here is the post with pictures from the puppies' birth day, Saturday October 25th.

And here is the post with close-ups of all the pups from our cuddling sessions this week.

Have a great Sunday everyone!
Our kids have learned that the best view of the whelping box is from up on the couch - they watch them all the time!

A couple of videos

It is hard to believe the puppies are already a week old! They are growing up quickly and we have already received quite a bit of interest. Make sure to let us know soon if you think you might one of these little cuties!

This is a video from last Sunday when the puppies were just one day old. They were so little!

Here's one from this afternoon of the puppies (at a week old) all crashed out on their momma.

We'll try to post more pictures and videos soon. Email us at doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com if you're interested in a puppy for Christmas! Be sure and check out the FAQ links on the left to get answers to questions you may have.

How do I get one?

Indy's puppies will be ready to go to homes around 8 weeks old (her current litter will be 8 weeks old on July 18th, 2018), though we are willing to work with you if that date doesn't exactly work. They will have their first round of shots at 6 weeks old.

These multi-gen mini Goldendoodles are $2000 each and require a $200 deposit to reserve one. If you decide you'd like to claim a puppy, email doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com and we'll send you deposit contract to fill out and send back to us, as well as a sales contract to review that we'll sign at the final handover.

Because we want to ensure that Indy's puppies go to into loving homes with responsible plans of care, we will also ask some questions about each family's situation and the life that you have planned for these Doodles.

You can always email us with any questions you have. Thanks!
