All puppies have homes... more planned for Summer 2016!

Sorry to those of you who have written asking about the availability of the "last" puppy. She has a family as of a few weeks ago, and is doing wonderfully.

Our plan is to do another litter next summer (2016), and we already have a few people expressing interest and getting on a waiting list, so be sure to let us know at doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com if you'd like to be included. We'll try to email or text anyone who registers interest as soon as we breed Indy again in the spring.

We love getting updates from the puppies and we'll try to post some of them soon, as well as some pictures as they get a little older. They are all doing great from what we've been told!

Thanks!

One Puppy Left

Four of the five puppies are with their families and doing wonderfully, so there's just one sweet girl left at our house. She is having lots of fun playing with her mom and with our three kids who adore her. From the beginning, she has had one of the sweetest personalities, and she has always been Cason's favorite because she'd just come curl up in his lap while the others were rough-housing.

There has been some interest in her, but nothing concrete yet, so please let us know soon if you are interested or have any questions. You can email doodlesbyrosie@gmail.com or call/text Colleen at 859.209.0261. We really want her in a permanent home relatively soon, so there may be some wiggle room on the usual price.

Lots of perks to being the last puppy!

Puppies are 8 weeks!

The puppies are 8 weeks old now! One has already gone to her new family (Halo, second from the left in the picture below), and the two boys (Beau and Sammy, middle and far right in the picture below) will join their new families this weekend. The two girls (on the far left of the picture below) are still available - there has been quite a bit of interest this week, but no deposits on them, so let us know if you'd like one.

They are all super sweet and love to play. They get lots of time every day playing in our backyard and living room with each other and with our kids. We take them out to the grass regularly, and they are rapidly getting better at potty training. Their coats are getting curlier, but at different rates.

The girl are the far left is the diva!  She is such a princess.  She loves to look at herself in the mirror and will sit pretty and watch while the other puppies run amuck.  She is very sweet and loves to sit in laps.

The other girl who is available is the second from the right.  She has a very calm, gentle and confident personality.  She is already so gentle with our baby (as you can see in the video below). She gives very good kisses.  She already seems like she will be the epitome of doodle personality: while fun and playful also loving, calm and knows when to be gentle.

6 Weeks!

The puppies are 6 weeks old today and are getting so playful. They love to go outside and run around with our kids, and have been doing good job with going potty outside as long as we get them out quickly after they nap. They are starting to eat watered-down real dog food a few times a day, but are still nursing Indy often. She's such a good momma, and enjoys playing with them now that they are more active. Their coats are starting to get more curly, though at different rates, and their personalities are becoming more defined. Some are a bit more adventurous than others (as you can see in the video below), but they are all sweet and LOVE people. We get them out in our kitchen almost every night so they run off some energy before bed, and they gallop back and forth between their momma and piling into our laps for licks and cuddles.

Here's a video of them playing outside and chasing our son on his balance bike:

We have some families interested, but only the 2 boys are claimed as of now, so if you're interested in one of the sweet girls, let us know soon! Here's info on the cost and the process of getting one of these puppies.

5 Weeks Old!

Hard to believe the puppies are 5 weeks old tomorrow! They are getting very cute and playful. We love getting them out a few at a time so they can explore the living room and cuddle with us. Our 3 kids can't get enough; they love to check in on the goings on in the whelping box and the puppies are definitely interested the crazy happenings outside their box. Mutual curiosity and love abound, and both kids and puppies are enjoying growing up together this summer!

Puppies at Two and a Half Weeks

The puppies are already two and a half weeks old and are getting big so quickly! Their eyes are open, and they're starting to totter clumsily around. Indy is an attentive mother, and anxiously stands by whenever we take one out for a cuddle - we just can't help ourselves sometimes! They are getting super cute, and we can't wait until they are able to run around and play in a few weeks.

The two boys are already spoken for, and are going to wonderful homes in Louisville and Indianapolis. #5 is going to be the perfect companion for a young woman who he has fortunately already been able to bond with him a few times, and #2 is joining to a fantastic family with six kids - both are sure to get lots of love!

Though we've had some interest, the three girls are still available as of now. Let us know if you or someone you know want to take one of these sweeties home! They'll be ready to go at 7-8 weeks old, so sometime after July 20th.

Sweet Sleepin'

The puppies are doing great so far, and Indy is such a good momma. She goes running to check on them at every squeak and whimper! They do sleep most of the time, often all squashed into piles. In these top photos, the three lighter colored girls are cuddled up piled on top of their brother, red boy #2.

Our kids (2.5 y.o., 15 months, and 7 months) are all very interested in the puppies, and the older two peer over the back of the couch down into their whelping box quite often. Our oldest has been told that he can't hold them on his own yet until they are a little older, so he is very excited about them growing up quickly! The 15-month-old just points and babbles at them periodically all day long. We are all enjoying the puppies at the sweet sleepy stage, but are eagerly anticipating them being able to play with us!

We've already had some interest in the puppies, and anticipate getting deposits to reserve two of them in the next few days, so let us know soon if you are interested. You can find out more about the cost and the process here

Indy's 1st Litter Puppies All Grown Up and Her 2nd Litter Is On The Way!

It is hard to believe that Indy's first litter of puppies are 7 months old now!  We are so excited to announce that Indy will be having another litter of puppies soon!  She was such a fantastic momma with the last litter and we can't wait to do it all again.  We've received some fun updates from her first litter. They are all grown up and are thriving with their families!

Colt (#1 from the first litter) has turned into quite the handsome boy and just became a big 'brother!' He is very protective of the family's sweet new addition.

Sweet Rory
Rory's (#2 from the first litter) family has some very sweet thing to say!

"My husband and I purchased Rory in December of 2014. This sweet bundle of fur has been the perfect addition to our family! We live only a few blocks away from the Wittig family, so we were fortunate enough to watch our puppy grow the first few months of his life. Colleen and Cason were extremely flexible and allowed us to visit with Rory as often as we wanted. It was easy to see that his needs were being met (and exceeded) on a daily basis. This helped mold him into the lovable, friendly, trainable dog he is today.
I am allergic to most dog breeds, so we did a lot of research before deciding to purchase Rory. The golden-doodle breed has been wonderful! I have not had any allergic reactions to Rory due to his non-shedding coat. ☺

He looks like a teddy bear
One of the many benefits of getting a dog with the Wittig family is that they have three young children. Due to this, Rory has been very well socialized. He is extremely patient, even tempered, and does extremely well around children. My husband and I are expecting a baby, and we know Rory will be a sweet, protective, and playful companion.
We would recommend a mini-goldendoodle to anyone. Rory has been a wonderful addition and brings a lot of life, laughter, and love into our family. "
One more of Rory

Otis (#3 from the first litter, not pictured) has joined a wonderful family with three little girls. It sounds like he has plenty of energy to keep up with them!

Abbey (#4 from the first litter) moved up north and gets to spend time with one of Rosie's puppies, Josie. She is such a little cutie!

Check back soon for postings when Indy has her next round of puppies that are due any day now!
